Habotai silks are a great choice for beginners and professionals alike. The surface is very smooth, almost like paper. Once dyed and washed, the fabric usually softens and drapes very well. This is an ideal weight for use with gutta or resist as the silk will not be as easy to snag, and it's not so thick as to hinder resist application. Works well with dyes and paints. All habotai silk scarves are 8mm weight and 100% silk. The edges are hand-finished.
